Is Teach Bay aligned to CAPS?
Yes. Every quiz and chapter is reviewed for CAPS alignment by our Head of Curriculum before it touches a student's paper. We cover Grade 10–12 maths, both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
How accurate is the AI grading?
Our grader is reviewed against teacher-marked papers before any chapter goes live. Teachers can override any AI grade — the AI is there to save time, not replace judgment.
Can I override an AI grade?
Always. Every AI grade is editable. Teachers retain final say on every mark and can leave additional feedback for students.
How do I create a quiz for my class?
From the dashboard, select your class, choose a chapter and difficulty, and the AI generates a quiz in seconds. You can edit any question before sending it to students.
Can teachers still write their own questions?
Absolutely. The AI generates a starting bank, but teachers can edit, replace, or write their own questions at any point.
How do schools sign up?
We sell directly to schools through a 30-minute demo call. After the call we send a custom quote based on the number of teachers and learners. Book a slot at /demo.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per learner per year and depends on the size of your school. We share a custom quote during the demo call — there are no hidden setup fees.
How long does rollout take?
Typically a single afternoon. We help your HOD and one or two teachers set up; teachers and learners are auto-provisioned from there.
Where is our school's data stored?
Data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure with TLS in transit and encryption at rest. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Click 'Forgot?' on the sign-in screen and enter your account email. You'll receive a secure reset link. For privacy, only the account holder can reset their own password — teachers and admins can't reset another user's password on their behalf.
